1.
The Port 01:45
There is no mistake in our precious decay In our own weakness we find ourselves prey The safety of a bed to lie underneath Dreaming of a way to sharpen my teeth Highways are stretched and raised like a scar Feeding on insects that came from afar They do not know me for the disguise There is no language but the look in your eyes Traffic roars from inside the hive Feel the pulse and know we're alive
2.
He moves in for the kill She's a dancing flame Many other men Too drunk too stand There is a cause It is this way Some old one's dressed And caked with paint The supple shapes And careful eyes While the weary Reach for the dip (Turn away) You can never know How you look On the shelf Or exactly how You will be sold The cats will kill To see if they can The rats will run In search of food They move like they know Because they do It comes across As more than nude
3.
Is this hell what it seems The dark night full of dread Drag around in the bars Or lie awake in bed Can only hide so long Before I'll be seen In the shimmering glow Of the sin machines The secret few Whose voices I hear They don't know that I listen And am filled with fear The moment I break Feel compelled to call I give no sound That could tell it all All the hidden lust That asks not why Is an uneasy look Inside the eyes As I was born to be I will desire in vain No matter how much I may lose or gain I long for the moon Like a moth to flame I see two burning lights That look the same
4.
The Riggers 01:18
5.
Exposed 02:38
Aimlessly walking the streets Stopping at strange lawns Picking up some dirty toys As the evening yawns Far away the neglected room The dog shit on the floor Just leave before they get back Duck in the green door You get a twenty if you dance to david bowie I'm milking the cash machine Something about that wig she wore That seemed obscene Miasma in a smokey jug On the edge of town Still they won't play my song And I won't lay it down Beer and fluid made their mark in the taxis rear Time to play the slide trombone In the drivers ear It's hard to tell sometimes Why they do what they do Film unrolled across the bar Offended people spew Is this really where I live It seems so still Here take this credit card I think I'm going to be ill
6.
Gone 03:19
I've got it, It's in my hands I feel it pulling in my sure grip My prey I have stalked With fever, all of my life No one can know what this is To behold in death Like weightless sex Spinning upside down ballet It is not the drugs or lack of sleep And I have not eaten Miles above the tortured plain As seen through a haze I am knowing to the core The untouchable at last Through these waves I send this down You can't touch me, I'm gone (It's all in your mind, ok)
7.
All Aboard 05:36
8.
Out 02:21
Out like the warning lights In the car of your mind Cool like an ice cube That tastes like rotten meat Floating in a glass of old crow Hip like leaning on the pinball machine Talking to someone else Drunk like an old friend Who doesn't know when to stop Gone like a wish You can't remember why you made Spent like someone else's money On a lottery Home like a frog In the frozen mud of winter
9.
A call from one, a game of cards Two plus one is crowded inside In this night the pets are nervous As it seems like war Rows of trees and telephone wires Not unlike the farms Engines roar in the cooling night In the glow of stores Bone white teeth in a bartenders smile The tiny cars are all out of clowns It's hard to see through all the faces and breasts There they are in the pool, drinking the water Time lost in the glow of a screen Until it's just no use Friends stalking out in the weeds Like raccoons In the shadows sneaking away They'll be there all night The unknown moves itself outside And quietly down the street Monkeys chatter under florescent lights In between the rides Sometimes coffee can be thinner than water With cheese and fries Slippery steps in the cold with no light The den is quiet feel around on the floor It's not strange to sleep side by side Eyes wide open, nothing breathes Rolling over, it's been an hour The sun will come up at any moment I hear a suspicious rhythmic sound It's just my heart, pounding in my chest
10.
Track Ten 03:21
11.
Libramoto 04:43
Rows of boy scouts Marching like hitler youth Up to some road work on main street Maintaining formation jumping into the pit Trudging through the trench Begin singing the anthem Once again I have left my body And watch hovering overhead
12.
My House 03:55
Cracked open my head Put a screwdriver in my ear This is, no way What is this that you hear The ripples that spread This hand, this fist Brotherhood of orange cone Where has the monkey gone Speakers hiss We are the dirty spawn Gnawing on a bloody bone Footfalls and floorboards shake Wind moves the place to creak These ghosts Do not hear me speak I'll take what I take Quietly Glowing embers give spark With the heaving of the ship Waves swelling in the dark Meat is punctured on the tip Eyes that follow their mark The captain Not distracted by the cold I've been wading with the fish Far away Leather pants and sweaty quish Tadpoles filling up the hold Feeding, eating
